Azusa runs under a council-manager government, with Azusa City Hall as the civic anchor near the historic downtown core, and a 2020 population of about 50,000. It's a smaller city than some of its San Gabriel Valley neighbors, which in practice means less downtown gridlock and generally more predictable pickup timing than cities closer to the 10 or 60 corridors.
Azusa's position at the mouth of San Gabriel Canyon also makes it a common staging point for groups heading up to the Angeles National Forest for a day, and the Metro A Line terminus at APU/Citrus College means some of our pickups here are actually transit connections rather than door-to-door trips.
