About Hermon
Hermon became part of the City of Los Angeles in 1912, and bridges built in 1926, 1930 and 1939 gradually improved the neighborhood's connection to the surrounding area. Hermon Park on Via Marisol remains the community's main gathering space, with barbecue facilities, play areas and lighted tennis courts, and the Hermon Neighborhood Council, certified in 2017, is the smallest of the city's advisory boards.
